Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decreased shedding I bought this for no other reason than to try something more moisturizing. What I did notice was less shedding. Ironically i just cam across a study that is using omegas fish oil in conjunction with vitamine e and lycopene for shedding. Almost 70% of the women in the study saw much less shedding

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My hair loves this. I have fine, wavy hair that has damaged areas from highlighting and this conditioner keeps the frizz away. I keep trying other conditioners that are supposedly better for wavy hair (lighter) and keep coming back to this. I use it as both a rinse out and squish to condish and i always have a good hair day when i use it. If you have damaged hair that is frizz prone this is definitely worth a try.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok! It smells good! My hair type is 2B, thick, wavy, dry hair. Partially bleached, so damaged, porous and dry. This conditioner worked hreat on the healthier, non-bleached parts of hair, it feels silky-smooth, but the damaged/bleached parts are still dry. It helped a little, but not wow. If you have similar hair to mine try instead Manuka Honey line, the hair masque is MAGIC!!!! Or Raw Shea, those have worked the best for me! Super moisturizing and detangling! Hope this helps! ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best conditioners I have ever used. This conditioner (and matching shampoo) are my Holy Grail items.... I have long, 2B wavy hair and this line leaves my hair soft, supple, shiny with tremendous slip. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing gently clarifying shampoo and conditioner to anybody!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pros and cons Pros first... After using the product for a week it's helped my hair a lot! The conditioner is very thick and moisturizing big time! Shampoo is extreme bubbles! Cons, the scent stinks. It reminds me of fabric cleaner. I can't take it back due to already using it. If you can get past the scent your hair will be very healthy!

WOULD THIS PRODUCT LINE BE RECOMMENDED FOR THIN DRY TRANSITIONING HAIR OR THE JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL?

Asked by: Quels
Hello Quels Would recommend the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Line. This line fortifies and renews, while supporting healthy growth for all hair types, including chemically treated, heat styled, natural and transitioning. Restores dry, brittle, damaged hair with a special blend of nourishing, natural, certified organic and ethically sourced ingredients. I also recommend the Raw Shea Butter line as well, as it moisturizes and repairs lifeless dry, damaged or over-processed natural hair. Intensive care, healing treatments and styling aids perfect for transitioning chemically treated hair to healthy natural hair. Happy Holidays!

Since the natural oils are usually so far down the line in the product (past 6th) this tells me that there is such small amt of the natural product(s). This makes me wonder if we get any benefit from what is being promoted.

Asked by: claster
Hi Love SheaMoisture, I understand and have read the ingredients however it appears that there is only a small amount of the Quinoa An ancient grain and Rose of Jericho sense they are so far in the ingredients. Also I do not see the Sacha Inchi Seed Oil nor Vitamins A & E listed in the ingredients. Only on the bottle and in advertisements.

Is this product one and the same as Omega 3, 6, 9 Rescur and Repair CURL DEFINING SMOOTHIE?  Currently using a sample of the conditioner and the shampoo, and LOVE it❣

Asked by: Marcia
Hi Marcia, SheaMoisture's Sacha Inchi Oil Omega 3, 6, 9 Rescue & Repair Collection includes Shampoo, Conditioner, Smoothie, Masque, Scalp Tonic, Oil Serum and a Cowash. The smoothie and conditioner are two different products. The Sacha Inchi Oil Conditioner is a rinse out formula were as the Smoothie is a leave in styler formulated to reverse dryness, while smoothing down cuticles and enhancing curl patterns.
