Rated 1 out of 5 by from WHAT THE. Bought this lotion (from TJ Maxx) because i have eczema, so my skin tends to be extra dry. So i thought this would help. Well, i used it once and thought well maybe it was just a piece of dried up lotion left on the cap (maybe from someone using it previously to test it) because it was hard. I go and use it the next day and as i was rubbing it into my hands to apply, it appeared to be what looked like glass pieces in it. Little ones but they are visible. I don't know what it could be. But it has left me in lots if pain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shea Moisture this your best yet! I needed moisture but didn't need my pores clogged. Excellent product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful light moisturizer This is a great, light lotion. Feels good on my skin and isn't greasy. Smells WONDERFUL. I wouldn't say it's the best for "extra dry skin" but it's a perfect post shower lotion for spring, summer, and fall.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smells great but ineffective I used this lotion for about a month now and it does smell divine but that is all that is great about this lotion. If you have eczema do not try this lotion. Unfortunately this product aggrevated my eczema. I broke put all over my arms and torso. It is such a shame because I never had this problem with the older products from Shea Moisture (Raw Shea, Olive Green Tea, Coconut Hibiscus and Lavender Wild Orchid). I also noticed this reaction with the Nubian Heritage products. It seems like the old formulas are absolete and the new ones are just extremely harsh. I've read several discussions on the Nubian Heritage site that say the formulas are the "same only the names on the ingredient lists sound scary because of standards the company needs to meet in order to be certified organic." But, how do you explain I used the supposed two same Goats Milk products but the old formula made my sensitive skin feel amazing and the new one broke me out?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me. I have dry skin in the winter time, so I saw this in the store and thought I would try it. After I showered, I used this lotion and 5 minutes later my skin was try again. Didn't work for me.

What kind of essential oils are in this particular lotion?I ask because I'm allergic to mace&nutmeg and I noticed it smells spiced.

Asked by: Corinne
Hi Corinne! Our essential oil blend is proprietary. We recommend doing a patch test prior to use to rule out any irritation or allerg or consulting your physician/dermatologist for use of this product.
