Rated 1 out of 5 by Amanda 23 from Not effective - extremely disappointed Once upon a time Shea Moisture would make their products with simple ingredients. Now unfortunately Shea Moisture decided to add ingredients that is causing more harm than good to your hair. It's really unfortunate Shea Moisture decided to change the formula to their products. I was a loyal customer for years, but i will now longer invest my money into these products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Blacksheep143 from I Like It Even though the smell isn't the best, it does a good job at moisturizing my hair as I was transitioning. Also, The moisture actually lasts so I would recommend for someone who is transitioning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tracy from Another ingredients list change This was a great product, but I see you've changed the ingredients list. It went from having no alcohol to having them listed in the top 5-7 on the ingredients list. The good stuff once at the top has now been moved to the bottom. And why is 'essential oil blend" for fragrance listed at #3!!!! The product smelled fine to begin with. Essential oil blend could mean anything. Only a minute amount of essential oil has to be present for a product to claim "essential blend". And while the alcohols are the fatty ones, for a styling product for black, using a alcohol based product is not good. The shea butter as also moved down on the list, but the coconut oil has moved up. I'm going to try and find this product with the original ingredients list and stock up until I find something else that works. I know I'm just one person....from the other reviews, people seem to like the change. But for me, this was the last product I was able to still use by SM. I wish you guys would leave the ingredients lists alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Tracy

Rated 3 out of 5 by slaws from Not the consistency I expected I want big hair therefore I was looking for lightweight styling products to put on my hair because it won't weigh my strands down. I read the word milk and instantly expected a liquid. I am disappointed with the consistency. I cannot say how this product effects the health of my hair because I have not tried the product yet. I will thin the product with water or not be heavy handed.

Is it better to use this in the warmer months or the cooler months? Same with the Curl and style milk from the coconut and hibiscus line. Should I use them in the warmer months, the cooler months, or all year around?
These products are great for use all year round, please check out our online tool at www.amillionwaystoshea.com for recommendations based on your hair type and needs.

Hi, I use the Jamaican black caster oil leave in conditioner and I wanted to know if I could put the Raw Shea Butter Extra-Moisture transitioning milk on top or do I just use one of the two.
These products can be used together! We encourage users to mix and match to find the best hair-care routine for your hair needs.
