Rated 5 out of 5 by from Transformed my stubborn, dandelion-frizzy hair I was hesitant to try this conditioner. I've tried Shea Moisture's Coconut & Hibiscus line and was disappointed with the results on my hair. There weren't any offensive, damaging ingredients in that line - I just don't think that provided enough moisture for my hair type. So when I discovered intensive hydration conditioner, I was curious enough to buy it and try it out. Ethnically, I am Haitian Creole on my mother's side and Eastern European on my father's side. I have always had very stubborn and frizzy 3B/3C S-type curls, and I've always been told I have a lot of hair - very thick and currently just past shoulder length due to a recent trim. In terms of conditioners, this has to be my absolute favorite holy grail conditioner. It instantly melts into your hair so you have to spread it quickly! It coats the hair shaft in a way that feels as though the damage never existed. I left it on for 20 minutes to deep condition and enjoy the beautiful honey scent it gives. My hair felt truly moisturized from root to tip, whereas i've always had a problem with crunchier ends even after regular split end trims - the ends always have required just a bit more moisture. While i use this to keep my hair hydrated for wash-n-go curly hair, it's magnificent for moisture retention on clean, straightened hair. I am very happy with the ingredients and the ethos that the company has established pushing organic and fair trade ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HOLY GRAIL!!! STAPLE!!!! When I tried this out I used this to detangle before I washed (same line). I fell in love IMMEDIATELY!!!! Silicones and Marshmallow Root didn't even provide THAT much slip. I started with two pumps and didn't even need that much for the medium sized section of my 4b/c low porosity hair that I sectioned off. My coils showed up with just this product and me finger detangling. NOTHING ever impresses me. Everything is always just "ok". I have scalp Psoriasis and typically everything I use works pretty good for my hair but poorly for my scalp. Using this (along with the entire line) has made them touch and agree. This is truly a 20/10 product. For those of you confused.... don't be. Try this out and you will understand where that rating came from.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing!! I love this conditioner! It hydrates my hair and helps give my 3a curls more bounce and definition (something that most conditioners struggle to do). Also, I have been processing my hair for three years, but after using this product just once my hair was shiny de-frizzed! My only reason for knocking off a star is the smell - although I enjoy the honey smell it is very strong and slightly overpowering. Not enough to make me stop using it but enough to make my nose irritated during the day. You do have to let this sit for longer than three minutes if your hair is quite dry (i would say 10 min), but I just leave it on while my finishing the rest of my shower so it is fine! Overall an amazing product and my new go to conditioner

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love. Love. Love Smells amazing with a very soft and comforting scent. I hope they don't change a thing about the ingredients of this. It may be a bit to moisturizing on fine hair. My hair is a medium thickness with moderate dry, wavy texture. This shampoo helps my hair feel and look healthy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MUST HAVE IN YOUR HAIR ARCENAL I was leery about switching to a natural shampoo - worried that it would leave my hair either really oily and unmanageable as I have plenty of soft, fine, limp hair that tends to be oily on a regular basis. This shampoo cleaned my hair well, smelled AMAZING, and left it silky, soft, and shiny. LOVE THESE PRODUCTS

I love this shampoo but think I may be allergic to something in it. Since I've been using it I've broken out in a rash. I stopped for a bit & it eased up but I like it so I keep using it & rash came back. Have you heard of anyone else with this problem?

Asked by: Vangie
Hi Vangie, We are sorry to hear of your experience. We recommend contacting your physician for any reactions to products as you are most likely allergic to an ingredient used in this product.

I have GRAY thick course natural hair and wear it cut low; However it always appears dry. I want to bring out the natural coils/curls and don't want it to look dry. Would either of the products help it to look soft, supple, healthy and curly?

is this leave in conditioner, But love your website by the way

Asked by: Pineapple
On the bottle, it says to rinse after 3 minutes. I have 3c/4a hair and I leave it on as if it is a leave in conditioner. What I love about this product is the fact there isn't any product build up. I use this product everyday or every other day without having to worry about flakes and white products on your hair. Do what your hair can tolerate. I hope that helped :)

I am so confused about ingredients, I hear water and stearic alcohol is no good for you, and cetyl alcohol? I noticed that is the first ingredients listed on your manuka shampoo

Asked by: Granny 23
Those two are ok, just like silicones, some are good for your hair and others you need to steer clear of. The ones containing faty acids are fine for hair. Denat alcohol, the sulfates, parabens, dimethicone, those are a no go. Just google an ingredient if you're not sure. But those are good.
