Great product for itchy scalp
I bought this product to flat iron my hair but I also use it as a braid and scalp spray. Since it has peppermint and apple cider vinegar, I decided to try it when I got Senegalese twists. It has truly relieved any itching that I usually get with braids or twisted styles. This product has worked better than any other product that is advertised as a braid spray. I love it!

i usually love she’s moisture products and i use the shampoo and conditioner all the time but this was a disappointing product. i have really thick curly hair and it made my hair straightening process really hard. it’s greasy and difficult to work with

let it smell of cake!
i use this as a strengthening treatment as well as a heat treatment. it is great for refreshing curls (though it is not advertised as a curl refresher) and it is also great for keeping hair healthy even if you don't use heat tools. when I do use tools it keeps my hair soft and no bad hair smells. It also smells like sweet cakes, i can't put my finger on what kind but sometimes i just refresh my hair with it just to smell it! love the stuff!

This is the first heat protectant that I have used that leaves my hair soft, not greasy, and cuts my blow drying time in half.

Hands down the best natural heat protectant I have tried. And trust me! I have tried everything out there. It gave my fine, poofy, hair a little weight (if that makes sense?). So I was able to blow dry and my hair just looked healthy. I never leave reviews but I love this so much I felt like I needed to.

Can I use a little of the leave-in conditioner first and spray on some heat protectant? Would that create too muh product build-up?
This depends on your hair type, for some with finer hair types this combination may be too heavy. We recommend using a small amount of each and seeing how this works, that way you can add a bit if you see fit!

I wash & roller set my hair then sit under a dryer. After that i blowdry my hair straight as well. the product says to use on damp hair so does that mean i only use it once while the hair is roller set?Dont use again right b4 blowdrying hair straight?
We recommend using this product on damp hair for the best results, you do not need to use additional product before blow drying.

When I do use heat, I let my hair air dry (sometimes blow dry if for a minute or so) overnight and then flat iron it in the morning. When should I apply this product? In the morning when it is dry before I straighten it? Also, is it a fine mist? Thanks!
I would say to use it before flat ironing. you should be able to apply on dry or slightly damp hair if applying in the morning . You just have to decide do you want your hair to air dry with the product in overnight or do you want to apply to dry/slightly damp hair in the morning.

What active ingredients in this product protect the hair from heat damage? I see castor oil is mentioned for containing reparative omegas, but it's the tenth ingredient, so I'm wondering if there is anything else effective as well.
Our organic Shea butter also helps protect against heat by creating a barrier against heat on your hair strand, keratin and plant-based proteins also help strengthen hair and fill in gaps in your hair shaft that may be caused by heating tools. Ingredients like sweet almond oil and vitamin E help nourish and hydrate hair to combat the over-drying effects of using heating tools! We hope this helps <3
