Don’t like the new Formula
The new formula is disappointing.
I liked this product much more when the first six ingredients were:
-water
-Shea butter
-coconut oil
-macadamia seed oil
-mango seed butter

Too greasy
This is a great product. But it is hella greasy. Luckily it's not heavy on the hair, but it's super greasy. I think the coconut and hibiscus line of hair products are all greasy. And maybe my texture of hair doesn't hold or need the amount of moisture it provides. I do like my curl results when I use this product, I just don't like the greasy stains left on my head rest and pillows. LOL

This product is great for curl definition, but it leaves my hair feeling dry. Only great for putting on hair around the edges for the coils to be more defined. Not overall hair product.

Great Product!
I have 2c/3a curls and I use a small amount (maybe quarter sized) on wet hair after showering. I have found that less is more with this product and that it does control frizz without weighing down the hair once your figure out the best amount for your curl type. This is a staple in my routine!

My GoTo styler for my curly hair!!!
When i 1st started my healthy hair growth journey I started with Shea Moisture products. I picked up the Curl Enhancing Smoothie and the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave In Conditioner. Both of these products helped get my hair conditioned and added nourishment to help my hair grow and flourish. I have tried many products but these 2 are my Holy Grail. I can always achieve a "Good Hair Day" when I do my Wash and Go's or Finger coils. Cannot wait to try even more products!!!! With the numerous collections Shea Moisture has you will certainly find now that works for you whether your hair is wavy, curly, or if you have thick natural hair.

Perfect curls every time
I have been trying for years to find a product that keeps my hair in place with out the crunchiness greasiness and doesn't have a gross smell and this is my dream come true. I have a mixed curl pattern from tight waves, loose ringlets to super tight ringlets. I can actually control my curl pattern using the smoothie. I put it in my hair right after conditioning for tighter curls, when it's damp for looser curls or I'll comb it out after it dries for waves. I cant get enough of it!

Love this stuff!
I've been experimenting with Shea Moisture products for a while, but I hadn't tried this one until I received it from Influenster for review. SM's stuff can be hit or miss for me, but I actually really liked this one. I treat it like a leave-in conditioner, wetting my hair thoroughly in the morning before applying this to the top. It's very light, so it doesn't weigh down my curls, which I like. It also smells really great and has enough staying power that at the end of the day, my hair isn't super frizzy. I approve!

love what it did to my curls!
Until recieving the complimentary Coconut and Hibiscus line from influenster, I had never tried the product and I am sad I hadnt. To my surprise the product proved itself to be worthy of becoming a part of my daily routine. But the smoothie is what stuck out to me the most, it is now a staple to my hair routine. I love how it makes my curls defined and bouncy. I can even fluff it out a bit and it wont get frizzy. Mixing it with the oil spray defiantely helped tame fly aways while moisturizing them as well.

This curl enhancing smoothie not only smells amazing, but also produces amazing results! All my life i've struggled to find the perfect product for my hair (which is a mixture of 3B/3C/4A) . Everything either dried my hair out, made my hair frizzy, or made my hair shrink ridiculously. But this smoothie along with the coconut & hibiscus curl enhancing gel- moisturize, define, and elongate my hair.

I got some Shea Moisture samples via Influenster and loved them! I was already a fan of the curl soufflé, but I love the curl enhancing smoothie even more - it leaves your hair soft, but defined, and doesn't weigh down my curls. Definitely recommend for all curl types!

I love this product! I use it right after a shower when I want a no heat style and it works perfectly. It keeps my hair from getting any frizz without making it crunchy or hard. It also has a great summer smell! I tried this complimentary from Influenster but all opinions are my own :)

Great product, specially combine with the shampoo and conditioner. I applied after washing my hair and rinsing the conditioner. I made me some braids and let them dry, then took then off and my curls were there. And thats a lot to say because my hair is really hard to get curly. I have greasy hair and it didn't make my hair grease.
I tested this product for free/complimentary (From Influenster), but all opinions are my own.

Shea moisture definitely changed this product. I don't know when because I had my last smoothie for a while, but it was changed no matter what they say. Before my hair used to love CES, now with the new container I just purchased, my hair is weighed down and greasy. I have 4a, fine hair. Such a disappointment.

This product literally saved my hair!
I got this a few days ago for testing purposes fron Influenster and I have to say it changed my hair life! First of all... the smell! It takes me to vacations on a desert island with a piña colada on my hand. It made my curls more healthy and hidrated them to the core. I like that this is a cruelty free product and organic product. Will defniitely buy the full size. All opinions are my own though!

This product is thick and moisturizing. I've been using it for 2 years now and it's the only thing that gives my curls a really good hold after a wash & go. I don't recommend putting it on dry hair though, if you do focus on the ends and apply it lightly because the product's very heavy and when you put a lot on dry curls you have to keep rubbing it in and pretty much brush your curls out. Mind you that's only for those that want really defined curls. It also can get a little flaky after a few days so if you like to rock 3-4 day hair with this product you should spritz some water mixed with oil to avoid that.

Curls Popping!!
I used this in my daughter's hair. I have a hrd time finding the right products for her hair. Hated spending an arm and leg for products that didn't work. But I love this product.
