Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give 0 stars, I would I bought both the Head In The Clouds shampoo and the conditioner. Both products turned out to be defective - the pump on the shampoo bottle stopped working after about 6 uses, while the pump on the conditioner simply never worked (I had to switch the pumps each time I wanted to use the conditioner). Not only were the products defective, they were also falsely advertised. The "dream come true for clean hair that feels lighter than air" ended up leaving my hair looking flat, gross and greasy. Terrible product. I feel bad wasting over $20 on shampoo / conditioner set that ended up in my trash can after only a few uses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am DONE with Shea Moisture! This is a TERRIBLE replacement / recommendation (per Shea Moisture) for their now discontinued Fruit Fusion Lightweight Line for fine and wavy hair people. I've tried this product several times and it's a disaster. First the formula of the shampoo is too thick for the pump on the bottle to actually work - my hand hurt after trying to get the product out - it's defective for sure, or they just never thought to test the product before releasing. The conditioner pump worked only once before it locked up - I can't even push the pump down to get product out. I tried for 5 minutes to fix it (while in the shower), thinking it had maybe locked or something - nope, it's just broken. So I switched the pump from the shampoo to the conditioner and was able to get product out. But it's a terrible product! It leaves my hair (super fine, very dense, very wavy) a nasty tangled rats nest. It usually takes me 15-30 seconds to detangle my hair - I legit spent 5+ minutes getting all the knots out - I was SO UPSET! This is a terrible product and they should never have discontinued the Fruit Fusion line, I'll never use any SheaMoisture products after this, and I'll definitely never recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Line!! I know most people haven't given a favorable review of this shampoo and conditioner line, but I love it! I have dense fine hair and absolutely love that it doesn't overwhelm my scalp with product residue after rinsing. I have seen that many have said that their hair is tangly after rinsing and towel drying....but I fixed that by using a pea-size of Shea Moisturize's Silicone Free Miracle Styler leave-in treatment with Sugarcane Extract and Meadowfoam Seed on my damp hair and gently brush through. After drying and flat iron, I take a second tiny drop of Miracle Styler and rub on my palms to soften any frizz. Give it a chance with the Miracle Styler. My hair is like silk!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a substitute for Weightless Moisture :( I have been trying to find a substitute for the weightless moisture shampoo that is no long available by Shea Moisture. I have this a shot. IT IS AWFUL. I do not like the foam design either. It doesn't feel like it works and you have to pump out a ton to get any sort of lather. It is really inconvenient to use. It doesn't really have a good smell either. IT's not bad, but its not good. It also sort of has a hint of plastic smell to it from the container it is in. As far as results? I just have dry dandruffy hair that looks gross and greasy the next day. I bought both the conditioner and shampoo and I am so disappointed. I will have to go to a new line of hair care since this is my third product by them I have tried to substitute for the Weightless Moisture that did not meet my expectations. I am sad. Really sad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TANGLED- thick hair don’t even think about it I wish I didn’t but I hate this line from Shea Moisture. I have used shea moisture shampoos and conditioners for probably two years now, I don’t stick to any one line of products and switch it up fairly often. In Ulta one day and I saw the Head in the Clouds line and to be honest I was mostly intrigued by the pump and it’s claim of light voluminous hair. For context, I have 2c/3a hair, with some 3b curls framing my face and it currently reaches just past the bottom of my shoulder blades, just longer than boob length, and I have a lot of it. I usually look for products that are conditioning, even my shampoos, since I wash my hair about once a week. Right now I’ve been using the Coconut Oil shampoo from SM and the Melt into Moisture mask from Devacurl as my conditioner. I always do a scalp treatment with oils and then brush out my hair before showering, it’s what works best for me, and I know to expect some tangling when shampooing, but using this line made it impossible. The pump was awkward to use with wet hands, even trying to take off the cap was annoying, and I felt like I was endlessly pumping to try and get enough product out. This also doesn’t lather which isn’t my preference if only because it makes it difficult to know if I’ve applied enough to get my entire scalp. While rinsing I noticed how stripped my hair felt and that’s also when I noticed the tangles. Honestly, calling my hair tangled is pretty tame, it was more like a giant mat of wet hair at the base of my scalp. I’m used to tangling though so I figured I’d do my usual, slap on a ton of conditioner and get to finger combing. I had the same issues with the pump on the conditioner and once it was in my hair it felt like I hadn’t applied anything. There was no slip at all and there was no feeling of any moisturizing, which I should have guessed from the foamed texture of the product. At this point I gave up and grabbed my trusted Melt into Moisture, but even after coating all my hair with it it took me about 15 minutes to try and deranged my hair, lots of yelling and pain included. The results of the shampoo reminded me of when I used the Jamaican Black Castor Oil line, which I hated, but I love that lines conditioner. I never write reviews but as someone who really likes Shea Moisture and is constantly trying different products I wanted to try and help anyone else like me from wasting money. My mother also tried this line, she has bob length blonde colored hair with 3a/3b curls, and she also found the shampoo to be stripping and the conditioner basically useless.

I'm also extremely disappointed that the Fruit Fusion line has been discontinued. I've tried so many different products both from SheaMoisure and other brands. Nothing else works well enough for me. BRING BACK FRUIT FUSION! :'(

I agree with Christy, I am also really disappointed that the fruit fusion line is no longer available. I also have fine curly/wavy hair and loved that line. It worked so, so well for my hair. :( Please can you bring it back???

Asked by: Katrina
I want the fruit infusion line back too!!!! I can usually tell right after one wash or two if a shampoo will make it or break it & I don't want to spend the money on trying a new shampoo if it won't work out! I can't use the 10 in 1 fruit one because I have an allergic reaction to that line

I'm REALLY disappointed that you have discontinued the fruit fusion line and the other lines that are for fine curly hair :(  I have found this one and might try but I have fine curly hair with LOW porosity. Any help? Don't forget us fine curly girls!

Asked by: Christy
We appreciate your feedback and will pass this along to our teams for consideration in bringing our Fruit Fusion Coconut Water line back. We recommend checking out our Green Coconut & Activated Charcoal products as well as our Purple Rice Water products for low porosity friendly products. We hope this helps <3
