Rated 4 out of 5 by Ash12 from So far so good! Recently I have started swapping out my body care products, for Sulfate, paraben, phthalates free, products. Actually by accident I noticed that since I’ve switched a majority of them, my Migraines have Noticeably Decreased! Shea Moisture has been a huge part of my swap. It’s easily accessible and everything seems to work wonderfully. Now onto the Micellar Water. I have cystic acne and a pretty dry face. Although my face seems to be loving the Micellar water (I’m only using it at night, before I use my MB acne product) the smell is quite strong. Very coconutty or tropical, but it doesn’t seem to dissipate. I do wake up in the a.m. not smelling it... but the hours before bed, it’s there and a little nauseating. I’m not generally sensitive to smell, but it’s like putting a Bath and Body Works lotion, on your face and having that scent by your nose for hours. I’ve often wondered why scent is added to natural products? Even though it says it’s an “essential oil blend”, what oils? And why? Perhaps that’s what is causing such bad reactions for others? All in all, im going to stick with it and finish the bottle, if it performs a miracle on my face, I’ll continue to buy it, if not, I’ll be finding a different Micellar water (possibly another Shea Moisture). I’d say, it’s worth a shot to those who are searching for that perfect routine. I’m not having a bad reaction and I swear my face is looking better. (I am using the Shea blemish scrub in the a.m. too)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheryl 230 from Great product! I love this product! I have combination mature skin that tends to be red in areas. it has calmed the redness and helped balance my skin. I use it in the morning to help remove the dead skin from the anti-aging products I use. Also use it at night after cleaning to balance my skin before I use products and before I use instant moisture rebound cream by Shea Moisture. I have tried a lot of products. This one is a keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chelsea from Easy & effective I was worried to try this as the reviews aren’t wonderful, but after having no luck with my Mario bedescue products Ulta allowed me to swap for something else and I chose this. I have combination skin mostly on the dry side, I also have rosacea tendencies so my cheeks tend to always be a little red. I applied this with a cotton ball all over my face, neck and chest (if I was going to have an irritation it would be evident) I waited a few minutes and I did have a tingle to my skin like I do with Shae moisture’s milky face wash but it didn’t burn me. I did it again later the same day before bed and it got all the dirt off my face, I will say it leaves a slightly sticky feel to your skin but I followed up with the daily moisturizer also from Shae moisture that completely removed the sticky feeling. The photo I’m uploading is right after the misceller water before moisturizer. Over all I think it works great and I don’t think it will break me out, but leave me feeling clean and hydrated.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rlambo from MY FACE HAS BEEN RED FOR 3 DAYS I would give this product 0 stars if I could!! I never write reviews but that's how bad this product is that I have to warn others. It is extremely irritating to the skin and leaves a really sticky residue. I don't know what it did to my skin but I can't get the redness to go away!!!!!!! I'm on day 3 now and it's still burning! Worst product I've ever purchased!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ouch from Very Irritating to Skin I was so excited to try this product because I love micellar water and am obsessed with coconut oil. This product sounded like a dream come true and a natural version of my regular micellar water sounded great! When I first applied the product I noticed it wasn’t as effective at removing makeup as the other micellar waters I have tried. I didn’t mind and continued to add more product to my pad. At this point I could feel my skin tingling. This was the first sign the product was irritating my skin. I immediately stopped use and went to remove it when the tingling turned to burining. I could feel the sticky residue left behind by the product and immediately ran in the shower with my cleansing oil to remove all traces of the product from my skin. After gently rinsing my face I came out look at my skin and I looked like I had extreme sunburn. My skin wasn’t hurting at this point, just red as a tomato. I have attached photos however I don’t feel my camera even did justice to how red my skin actually was. You can see the contrast of the perimeter of my hairline of skin that was untouched by the product. If you look at reviews on other sites, almost everyone had the same problem. I would avoid at all costs, but if you must try it definitely do a patch test before applying to your whole face!
